Slash Commands Quick Reference

Your cheat sheet for talking to the AI, not the character.

The Three Two Tools

/ooc — Out of Character
Soft suggestion. Casual nudge. Easily forgotten.
Best for: Preferences, questions, gentle course-corrections.

/cmd — Command
Direct instruction. Firmer authority. Fades over time.
Best for: Stopping unwanted behavior, requesting specific changes.

/system — System Override
Structural rule. Strongest authority. Persists longer.
Best for: Setting rules, switching modes, injecting context summaries.

/system appears to have been deprecated on SpicyChat.

Simple Rules

Start soft. Escalate only if ignored.
One clear instruction beats three vague ones.
Contradictory commands confuse the bot.
Repetition dilutes impact — don’t nag.
When nothing works, start fresh.
